Scotland's Suffrage History: Education Pack

This is a dynamic, bespoke learning resource designed for primary or secondary schools, or youth/community groups. We have worked with Scotland's preeminent scholars to research suffragettes and suffragists who worked in every region of Scotland. These amazing women are featured in this beautiful, robustly researched resource.

The Pack includes detailed-but-adaptable lesson plans, creative learning activities, and beautifully designed powerpoint slides and worksheets.

It is designed to work with up to 30 young people between the ages of 9-13.

Each Scotland's Suffrage Education Pack includes:

• 7 decks of Scotland's Suffragette Trumps bespoke playing cards – featuring 40+ activists, and SUFFRAGIST & SUFFRAGETTE wildcards!
• 10 Rent Strikers & Suffragette Zines – inspiring, dynamic images and quotes from 7 women who campaigned for housing rights, and the vote.
• Downloadable Teaching Resources – including over 50 pages of Teachers Notes, Lesson Plans, and Activity Worksheets – designed by professional educators for Late Primary or Early Secondary School age (second / third level | P5-7 / S1-S2)
• A hand-painted reusable box – spray-painted with stencils and decorated with stickers, this shipping box is cool enough to keep these resources together, with additional space for handouts / papers / even a book or two!
  

We have worked for a full year to develop Scotland’s Suffrage History Education Pack, partnering with suffrage scholars to nominate activists for the Suffrage Trumps cards, and collaborating with professional educators Braw Talent to develop the Teaching Resources.

The combined resources in the pack are valued at £250. If you are able to pay more those funds will go directly to providing free or discounted Packs to schools in areas of multiple deprivation. Please get in touch if the price is out of reach – we may be able to offer a discount using donations.

After you 'add this to your bag' and 'checkout’, we’ll begin processing your order. We’ll send you the Pack within a week – we usually ship on Thursday.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The downloadable Teaching Resources will be instantly available from the order confirmation page. A link to the download will also be emailed to you. You will have 72 hours after your order to download the file. However, we strongly recommend you download it as soon as possible.
